The Official Airport Assistance Network of the World Airports
ITM provides a great choice for food, but before securit,y it is important that you know which restaurants are available and which are closed.
The Central Terminal offers you the maximum selection before security. DIAMOND CURRY The - 2nd floor is a convenient place to enjoy Japanese curry. Café Marufuku Coffee serves up coffee and a lighter break, and MIMIU serves Japanese food.
In the Central Terminal, there are SACHIFUKUYA CAFÉ, which servesJapanese-stylee food for early travellers, and LE PAN KOBE KITANO, which is helpful for bakery products and café food.
If you have more time, the Central Terminal’s 3rd floor has several sit-down restaurants. One of the most unusual restaurants at ITM is Osaka Airport Winery, which is located in the airport with a winery within the restaurant. Maguroya Ebisu is a tuna restaurant, and Katsukura is a good place to get tonkatsu.
One of the most memorable Osaka food stops before security on the South Terminal side is 551HORAI. It is well-known for its butaman steamed pork buns and may be quite busy, so don't wait till the last few minutes before security.
Security, followed by different restaurants on the North and South sides. At the North Terminal, there are several eateries, including Tennenhonmaguro Arisozushi (sushi), DOTONBORIKAMUKURA (ramen), Osaka Takoyaki Takobon and & COFFEE MAISON KAYSER.
South Terminal guests can enjoy Doutonbori Imai – Osaka style udon, TAKOYA DOUTONBORI for takoyaki, DAN-MEN for pasta, TSURUHASHI HAKUUNDAI for Korean style food, Starbucks, and Sushi Uogashi Nihon-ichi.
The one thing to remember at ITM is to find out where the restaurant you want is in the terminal and where security is. Security will be the barrier after which it may not be possible to make it across to the other side to a restaurant.
ITM is not a shopper's paradise for international duty-free goods, as the airport is used for domestic flights. Rather, it's a great location to purchase Osaka souvenirs, Japanese sweets, regional wares and travel essentials.
One of the most convenient places to get regional souvenirs is KANSAI TABINIKKI on the 2nd floor of the Central Terminal. Another sweet and gift shop is Pâtisserie Moncher by KANSAI TABINIKKI.
In your everyday travels, KOKUMIN DRUG at the Central Terminal offers pharmacy products, toiletries and personal-care items. There is also LAWSON in the Central Terminal for drinks, snacks andlast-minutee necessities at the airport.
Next to security, shopping is influenced by your departure side. You can get souvenirs, food and travel items at JAL PLAZA in the North Terminal. Another popular North-side destination, it is linked to Osaka's famous baked cheesecake, RIKURO.
Travellers on the South Terminal side, after the Security checkpoint,s can buy regional products and gifts at IPPINSAN and IPPINSAN Marché. Other alternatives are Namiyoshian, Henri Charpentier and Otabe for Japanese sweets and confectionery.
When purchasing souvenirs, consider purchasing before security for the most flexibility. If time is limited, select the stores on the side of yourpost-securityy departure, not to be confused with the Central Terminal.
Eligible travellers can use the ITM lounges. The North Terminal side is for JAL passengers only, and qualifying passengers can gain access to JAL lounge facilities after security. The South Terminal side is the point for ANA passengers, providing access to ANA lounge facilities for eligible passengers.
There is also Lounge Osaka, a card lounge in the Central Terminal area just prior to security. Entry will be subject to the availability of suitable cards and the entry conditions at the time of the lounge. Security must be done before passengers can depart, with sufficient time to pass through security.
When travellers are not familiar with the North and South terminal division, AirportAssist can assist themin findingd the right lounge and finding their way to the correct lounge.
The most popular attractions at ITM are Sorayan's Garden and the Observation Deck. This area on the roof provides an opportunity for visitors to observe aircraft and to stop from the main terminal interior.
It makes a great option for aviation enthusiasts, for families or for travellers who have a longer wait. The observation area is not within the post security zone area;, always allow sufficient time to return and clear security.
Bornelund Play World (4th floor, Central Terminal) is also available for families to visit prior to security. It may be helpful when you have children in a longer wait period, but please take note of any current opening times and admission requirements prior to visiting.
Don't get it out of ITM. Eat in the Central Terminal, visit KANSAI TABINIKKI for local souvenirs and briefly visit the observatory. Come back on time to pass security.
The longer connection allows time for a sit-down meal. Try the Osaka Airport Winery, the Central Terminal restaurant at Katsukara, shopping and the observation deck. If families meet the connection time, they can consider the facilities available on the 4th floor.
With a truly extended layover, one might be able to make it to the centre of Osaka. But it depends on your bag and ticket. Take into account the travel time to and from the airport, as well as potential delays due to traffic or transport, security and a buffer of comfort that allows you to leave the airport at the right time.
Duty-free shopping is not particularly prominent at ITM as the flights are domestic ones. The airport boasts duty-paid shopping, especially souvenirs from Osaka and Kansai and Japanese sweets and food gifts.
The Central Terminal offers travellers the broadest selection the moment they go through security, and each side of the departureshase shops after security.
Dining choices are at their best at the Central Terminal, prior to security. The restaurant options vary for North and South passengers, following the screening process. Before passing through security at a restaurant, always check its location.
Airline lounges are found on the side of the JAL and ANA, and before security at Central Terminal is the Lounge Osaka. Conditions of eligibility and access are different in different countries – check before travelling.
The Osaka Monorail, which connects to Osaka Airport Station, is the airport's direct rail line. From there, the passengers can transfer to other train lines to Osaka and the Kansai area.
Airport limousine buses also link ITM to key locations, and taxis and rental cars are also available. Decide how you will get to your destination as the road transport may impact the buses and taxis, whilst the rail journey may need a transfer.
ITM offers complimentary WiFi, charging options, ATMs and all other basic amenities for passengers. Where wheelchair or mobility support is required, it should be pre-arranged for travellers where possible.
It's handy to have the airport map and airline information on hand, especially between the Central, North and South sections.
